Take bookings your way
Take bookings your way. Add a booking link from Mews, Cloudbeds, Smoobu or Little Hotelier, or table reservations from OpenTable, ResDiary or TheFork. Mews and Smoobu booking widgets and a ResDiary widget can be embedded on the page. Or take booking requests from the booking strip: Book now opens Contact with an editable message containing the stay details. With the optional Cloudflare form Worker, the strip announces dates already booked in your iCal calendars (Cloudbeds, Smoobu, Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo) before opening Contact, with a separate calendar for each room. Contact stays an ordinary message form when opened from the menu. You confirm every request yourself.
Opening the booking window does not load the widget: guests choose “Open booking form” to give consent. The provider may then set cookies. The exported website includes a security policy for the provider’s servers; your hosting must apply it. A contact link remains available if loading fails. Provider accounts and fees are separate. The configurator works offline.
What the free edition leaves out
The free edition has one page, one palette, one layout and one website language, with grey placeholder images and no attribution required. It does not include room pages or a room listing, service pages, a blog, booking links, widgets, booking requests, a booking strip or iCal availability. Extra pages, other palettes, custom colours, other layouts, multilingual websites, licence keys and updates, Worker analytics and redirects are available in the paid edition.

The same page, as it comes and one other way
Same texts and photos. First the demo as it comes, then the same page with a different layout and palette chosen in the configurator, out of 11 page layouts and 10 colour palettes.

All pictures on this page show the sample content of the template. The photos in them are from Unsplash and are shown here only as an example; the download contains grey placeholder images instead — why the demo photos are not included.
What’s in the package
- The configurator — an application you open with a double-click, with this template’s sample texts already filled in.
- Grey placeholder images in the right sizes, to replace with your own photos. The demo photos are not included.
- What it gives you when you press download: a ZIP with the finished site in a
webfolder, your settings filemy-website.jsonto change the site later, and a short read-me on getting it online. - The guides — all of them are on this site.
- Email answers to bug reports for 30 days after purchase.
The demo photos are not in the download
The download contains grey placeholder images in the right sizes. The photos you see in the demo are from Unsplash and are shown here only as an example — replace the placeholders with your own photos.
Unsplash’s licence doesn’t allow us to pass their photos on. But there’s a better reason than the licence: a website showing somebody else’s work is the fastest way to lose a customer who recognises it. Your own photos, even taken on a phone, sell better than stock ever will.
When you add your photos, the configurator re-encodes them and throws away their EXIF data, GPS included — so photos of finished jobs don’t publish your customers’ addresses.
Booking widgets load on request
The website uses local fonts and photos. No booking widget loads until a visitor chooses to open it. If you add a booking provider’s widget, its code can then contact that provider; use a booking link or the contact form if you prefer to keep external code off your website.
