What we collect and where from
When you write to us through the form on this website, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. We collect nothing else about you through this website.
What we use it for
To reply to you, prepare a quote and — if we agree — carry out your job. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
Legal basis
We process your details because you asked us for a reply or a quote, and we need them to enter into and perform a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep the records of a completed job also because the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).
How long we keep it
We keep messages from the form and the correspondence about them for two years after our last contact with you. Then we delete them — except for records the law requires us to keep longer.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that help us run the website and our email have access to your details:
- Cloudflare Pages — the provider that hosts this website. Like any server, it sees technical details of each visit, such as your IP address.
- The provider of our mailbox, where your message arrives.
We do not pass your details to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies, does not track visits and loads nothing from other servers — the fonts, images and styles are all stored on the website itself. That is why it does not ask you to accept cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to know what details we hold about you and to get a copy, to have them corrected or deleted, to restrict how we use them, to object to it, and to receive them in a form you can take elsewhere.
Just write to hi@oakhollow.example. We will reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied
If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, write to us first — we will gladly explain and put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
